Australian Mesothelioma Register

The Australian Mesothelioma Surveillance Program was set up in NSW in 1980 and ran until 1985, to be replaced in 1986 by the Australian Mesothelioma Register.

Under these programs data was collected on all cases of mesothelioma recorded in Australia in order to track numbers of cases, where the cases occurred, and the occupational links of the sufferers.
