Welcome to the Australian Asbestos Network Archive. This comprehensive online resource has been compiled as part of a National Health and Medical Research Council research project.

It has brought together a multidisciplinary team of medical and public health researchers, historians and journalists who are working to provide the most comprehensive collection of material about asbestos and asbestos-related disease in Australia.

Here you can search the website using keywords. The material has been approved by the various contributors for general use.

To search the Archive, simply type your search term into the search bar. You can search items by category. Use broad terms such as Wittenoom, Mine, History, House or Children.

We also welcome you to contribute your own Asbestos story, photos or images or register your interest to be interviewed by the research team, by clicking on Tell Us Your Story in the blue panel on the left hand side of this page.

You can contact us at asbestosstories@murdoch.edu.au if you need any assistance.

We thank you for your interest in the Australian Asbestos Network and look forward to receiving your feedback and contributions.
